Dear CYF Parents,
I want to offer my sincere apology to each of you and yosur child. I am reaching out to you to provide updated information concerning the uniform issue that took place last season, in 2016. The case initially went to recorders court. The judge then bound the case over to superior court. We are still waiting on the actual Superior Court date for the uniform vendor. When I am told of the Superior Court date, I will inform your league president, coaches, etc. We will also keep you informed on our social media page.
However, the 2017 season is upon us. I want to personally ask you and your child and/or children to return to the program. We, as an organization have reduced the fees for all returning football players and cheerleaders. This season all returning football players and cheerleader registration fees will be $25. All returning football and cheerleader league fees will be no more than $75. I know this gesture does not fix the entire uniform situation. However, we feel that we must do something to accommodate the inconvenience. We will have five registrations this season. They will take place at Pop Austin Recreation Center in Columbus, Georgia. The dates are July 15, 22, and 29th and August 5 & 12th 9am to 2pm.
Please feel free to stop by and see me or someone from my staff to voice any concerns, or ideas about how to make matters better. Once again. I thank you and your family for your continued support of Columbus Youth Football. For your information, all 2017 uniforms will be purchased through local representatives in the Tri-City community.
Thank You Sincerely,
